Underground Sounds - Band Night

UNDERGROUND SOUNDS - On december 6th we host a band night showcasing a unique selection of musicians that are know for their improvisational skills on stage. The musicians all have their own connection to Maastricht. We proudly present the acts to you! Subsidiejunk: is a side project of the Tilburg-based weird-punk band H_U_T._.. The group operates with a constantly shifting line-up of musicians from the Tilburg underground scene. Each performance is unique: fully improvised, trance-inducing, and built on repetitive drone-rock, krautrock, and noise jams.

Devon Rexi: is an Amsterdam-based quintet blending dubby, playful and experimental electronic music with touches of post-punk and psych-funk. Their 2024 release Biya Ba Man showcases their distinctive sound of pitch-shifted vocals, distorted grooves, and percussive drive. Devon Rexi embodies a collaborative, communal spirit, creating joyful, groove-driven music that thrives on experimentation.
